This ‘so simple even I can do it’ recipe for Apple Crumble serves two and will only take you about 30 minutes from start to finish, depending on your preferred level of ‘crispness’! It packs more than 10g of protein per serving, and comes in at under 200 calories. Not too shabby!
Here’s how it’s done…
What you need:
- 1 tin of sliced apples (not in syrup or juice) or 2-3 chopped, sliced apples
- 20g Oats
- 20g Whey Protein Powder (Chocolate or Vanilla both taste epic!)

- Put butter into bowl and microwave for about 5-10 seconds to partially melt
- Chuck oats, and whey into bowl with butter and mix together
- Chuck apples into oven proof dish
